Bel-Ray Racer Cody Cooper claims New Zealand MX1 Championship
The 2013 New Zealand Backflips Motocross Championship concluded on March 31st at the Taupo Motorcycle club in Taupo, New Zealand. Bel-Ray Moto-City Suzuki’s Cody Cooper dominated the MX1 class throughout the series and was rewarded with the championship at the end of the day.

Cody Cooper's final round of the NZ MX Champs race report
The day started of awesome with the top four riders all within micro seconds in Qualifying.
I went 3 out of 3 in my starts then 3 out of 3 in my races this gave me the overall championship title with 1 race to spare. I was so happy with my results :)
The track was tough and a little dry which made it dangerous with hidden bumps all over. I think all of the riders had some close calls at some point during the races.

15/16 June 2013 - Dirt Guide Cross Country and Trail Ride Series - Round 3 (Final) - Ohakuri
On the Saturday (15th June) is the final round of the 2013 Dirt Guide Cross Country series.
On the Sunday (16th June) will be the final round of the 2013 Dirt Guide Trail Ride series.
These will be held at Ohakuri and run by Sean and Adele Clarke.
Round one is also being run at Ohakuri (20/21st April)
Round two is being run at Tar Hill (17th/18th May)

Bel-Ray Announces Team Bel-Ray Suzuki in New Zealand
The leading USA-based lubrication manufacturing company is pleased to announce their partnership with Suzuki New Zealand and the formation of Team Bel-Ray Suzuki. The team will compete in both the MX1 and MX2 class in the 2013 New Zealand Motocross Championship beginning in February.

Whangarei Motorcycle Club
Want to keep riding over winter?
Whangarei Motorcycle club has 2 all weather sand tracks plus a minis track at Ruakaka, it’s never too wet to ride here.
Throughout winter a club day will be held on 2nd Sunday of the Month.
Sign on 7.30-9am, riders briefing 9.15am.
But It’s not all racing.
Regular fundays will be held on the 3rd Sunday of the month that are open to members and non members for just $20. Riding starts 10am on Fundays.
No mass starts
No Racing
No pressure
